Full Court Games (Two Goals)
2-4 Players/ 2 Teams:
- Set two goals around 30 to 50 feet apart and stake the bottom of the goal in the ground or add some weight to hold it down
- Pick teams and boot color. Each team have their teammate walk down to the opposing goal
- Each team takes a turn kicking boots to each goal back and forth. We recommend two boots the same color per team.
- The first player or team to reach or exceed 21 points wins
Scoring:
Strike the Goal- (1 Point) When a boot hits/strikes the goal directly from the air is called a "Strike." Each strike is one point. A bounce and strike do not count. The goal is considered the bottom ring, four posts, top ring, and net. In the rare case that a boot lands in the net and then bounces out it is considered a strike.
On the Green- (3 Points) When a boot lands and/or rests on or inside the bottom ring of the goal we call this "On the Green". On the Green gets Three points. Points are awarded when any part of the boot breaks the vertical plane of the bottom ring. In other words, the boot does not necessarily need to be touching the ground inside the ring. Strike points do not apply when awarded for 3 Points.
Basket- (6 points) When a boot lands in the goal and stays in the basket. Celebrate by yelling “Shoot the Boots!” A Basket is Six Points.
Cancellation Scoring- Like the approved method of scoring for the sport of cornhole. The points of one player cancel out the points of their opponent. Using this method, only one player/team can score in each frame with the remaining balance.
Both players/teams play one goal at a time and stay in their designated lane for the whole game (Left or Right).
Players should kick toss from behind the goal they are standing near when playing to the opposite goal. Feet must stay behind the line of the front of the goal at the time of releasing the boot.
Players start the game playing from one goal to the other while alternating taking kick tosses.
The player/team who scored in the preceding frame kick tosses first in the next frame. If neither player/team scores, The player/team who kick tossed first in the preceding frame shall retain first toss in the next frame.
Keeping the Goal Clear- Best practice is to remove a boot from the net if someone scores to avoid any obstructions with susequent shots. However, players should not move any other boots laying on the ground as a result of play until the end of that frame. If the rare case occurs where a subsequent boot hits a boot resting "On the Green" and moves it out of the green, then three points are forfited. We call this a "Stinker"
